Happy Birthday with Brads. is maybe my favorite stamping site.  I saw this idea there months ago and fell in love with those cute polka dot brads and the way our Stampin' Up! in color collection looked together.  I never would have put them together, but they sure are fun.
The first time I used our lace punch, I thought it was broken, but then I placed in on the table and pushed down on both sides and it worked GREAT!  It is an amazing punch.  I added an extra card layer to make this more like a book so more birthday greetings could be included.

You can see the brads here.  The Lace maker here.
If you want to come to our next class on Saturday the 10 of December, please RSVP.  Happy Stamping!

It's a Card! It's a Gift Card Holder!

I think this is my favorite  card from our last stamp class in November.  It used our wonderful Holly Berry Bouquet Designer Paper from page 20 of the Holiday Mini Catalog ( See it HERE) and  the pocket die cut (here) for the big shot.  I can hardly wait for this Saturday to see everyone and make more fun projects.
Even if you can't come to the class, you can order anytime online.

Box It Up!

I love the boxes that SU is carrying in the Mini-catalog (here).  What a perfect size for a small gift or a small goodie.  A few seconds of stampin, a ribbon, and it is a personalized gift.  We will be doing these boxes in some way at the Library Class this November 12th.   I am in love with the leaf set used on the box. The Two-step stamping makes it easy.   You can find it here in the catalog.  You can browse and order 24/7 by clicking on the "Order Stampin' Up! Online" button.  Happy Holidays!

Two Christmas Projects for October 22 Stamp Class

I love the way the double sided paper makes any box or envelope instantly more interesting.  We will make this cute little box at the October 22 Stamp Class at the Madison Library.   Email me to RSVP!
A card easy enough to make a lot of for Christmas and cute enough that you'd want to.
So there are two of the four projects for the next stamp class at the library.  The Class is free with a $20 order from the catalog, or you can just pay a class fee of 7:00.  You can also do these projects at a home workshop during October.  Keep checking for the the next two projects.  If they look fun, you should join me there!

I LOVE pumpkins.

This is one of the cards we did at the last Stamp Class at the Madison Public Library.  I  love the new set Jack of All Trades that you can find here.  The spooky is from here.  And that amazing web background is an embossing folder found here.

It'a a Wrap!

It's a Wrap stamp set is such a fun way to make goodies for many things, especially weddings.  With the help of my family we covered over 400 little nuggets with these stamped address labels.  It is only $19.95 for clear mount and you can get it HERE.

Variations on a Theme

I made this card for my Uncle Albert in Minnesota who is very sick.  It utilizes our So Saffron Paper (24 sheets for only $6.95.  and a great all around stamp set "Upsy Daisy" (you can see the whole set here.)

I used markers to color on the stamp and then splashed it down on the white paper.  I also am very fond of the spotted ribbon I used on the second card.  You can find our ribbons HERE.

Blue Ribbon Card. No. Really.

So I thought it would be a fun to enter some cards into the county fair.  I earned a blue ribbon.  Fun.

I was using a bunch of odds and ends of paper that I had just adhered to a piece of cardstock and then cut to 5 1/2 by 3/4 inch  pieces. They are kinda handy for using up stuff.

Paper Bags and Scrapbooks

I made cold lunches for the kids on the second day of school and thought about these fun mini scrapbooks you can make with paper sacks.  I picked these little white ones for 500 for $1 or something.    I love the game spinners we sell here in the catalog.  Really fun.

Almost as much fun as making cold lunches for my kids.
