Variations on a Theme

I made this card for my Uncle Albert in Minnesota who is very sick.  It utilizes our So Saffron Paper (24 sheets for only $6.95.  and a great all around stamp set "Upsy Daisy" (you can see the whole set here.)

I used markers to color on the stamp and then splashed it down on the white paper.  I also am very fond of the spotted ribbon I used on the second card.  You can find our ribbons HERE.

Blue Ribbon Card. No. Really.

So I thought it would be a fun to enter some cards into the county fair.  I earned a blue ribbon.  Fun.

I was using a bunch of odds and ends of paper that I had just adhered to a piece of cardstock and then cut to 5 1/2 by 3/4 inch  pieces. They are kinda handy for using up stuff.

Addicted to Composition Notebooks.

40 cents and some tax can buy you a fine looking notebook at Walmart this week.  Cover it with a little bit of paper and lookie! Stampin' Up! paper is buy three get the fourth free, but only until the end of August.  Click here to buy some designer paper at my website.  Buy $50 of it and get a free inkpad in September.

I made the flower by punching out 2 scallop circles, cutting them in half, wrapping them around each other, and smooshing them.  I attached it with a mega glue dot.

Paper Bags and Scrapbooks

I made cold lunches for the kids on the second day of school and thought about these fun mini scrapbooks you can make with paper sacks.  I picked these little white ones for 500 for $1 or something.    I love the game spinners we sell here in the catalog.  Really fun.

Almost as much fun as making cold lunches for my kids.

Wedding Invitations.

Hey Christina!  I have been making up some ideas for creating wedding invitations.   I used roller wheels for the ink on two of the invites and my favorite leaf stamp on another, but perhaps the one with no stamped images at all looks the best.  Sometimes less is more.  Sometimes it is just less.  I do not know if we will use any of these, or what elements from what design might work,  but I had fun playing around with them anyway.
